For Manny Deol, entering the real estate industry was an easy decision which began to ripen at a young age. His dad came to Canada with a vision of a better life for his children. He worked in a lumber mill and saved up his extra earnings to build one

home a year to sell. Manny quickly gained knowledge and admiration for the real estate industry. Out of high school Manny’s initial goal was to get a bachelors in business, however once there he decided to switch gears and get his real estate license and has never doubted his choice. “I quickly realized that I loved real estate, but I especially love selling people on the highlights of living in Mission, BC,” Manny explains. A scenic city with a vibrant community, endless outdoor activities, great local restaurants and more, Manny is passionate about everything it offers. After ten years in the business, he’s loving every second of his work, and can’t imagine doing anything else.

“The majority of my business comes from repeat clients and referrals,” Manny explains. “I think part of that is because I really love what I do. I love helping people. It’s not about the money.” No matter if he’s selling a $2 million home or a plot of land, Manny delivers the same superior service to every client. “I want everyone’s experience to be so good that they will become my advocate, spreading the word about my work,” he says. When it comes to marketing, Manny also exceeds expectations, providing videography, photography and advice on how to make each property look its best. “We offer simple yet effective tips,” he says. Manny focuses mainly on online marketing, utilizing all the real estate websites and social media to spread the word about his listings.

Afterwards, clients leave glowing reviews about their time together. One recently said, “Manny has been our realtor for 3 transactions so far, for both buying & selling. The entire process leaves you feeling comfortable, because he makes it so easy by walking you through it in a way you can understand. When Manny isn’t working, he’s staying involved in the community. He’s on committees for the District of Mission as well as being a Director on the Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures and   the Downtown Business Association. “I like to promote Mission as much as possible. It’s a great place to live and a great place to invest.”

As he looks towards the future, he is eager to continue growing. No matter how much he expands, he will continue to love his work. “What I find most rewarding is the people. I’ve met so many people I would never have met in my life if I were doing anything else. It has been an amazing opportunity for me.” Manny really does know Mission.
