Although the Fraser Valley housing market expected moderate activity due to the season, there is a strong desire for family-sized homes. Their benefits continue to dominate the market with another record-breaking month. We’ve seen the strongest demand in our Board’s 99-year history specifically for single-family detached homes and townhomes. There was 61 new listings compared to the 69 new listings in October.
With a 54.7 percent increase compared to the 1,405 sales in November of last year, the total inventory was the fourth lowest for the month in the last decade.
In Mission, benchmark prices have begun to slowly increase compared to last month. Although the increase is minimal; Detached are up 1.8%, Townhouses are up 1.3% and Apartments are up 2.2%.

- Apartment Sales for October compared to November – Decrease of 16.7%
Though it has been difficult for many industries to adapt to the protocols of the pandemic. The real-estate industry has been able to navigate using appropriate safety measures and continued to thrive.
