The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board processed 81 new listings in September 2019, only a 1.2% decrease from 2018’s 82 new listings in Mission, BC.

“The market has returned to a balance which is good news for both buyers and sellers. September’s sales went from the worst in 10 years to just above the 10‐year average.” says Manny Deol.

There were 299 active listings available in Mission, BC at the end of September, a 5% increase compared to September 2018 and a 0.4% increase from August 2019. Below you will see the benchmark prices in comparison for September 2019 to 2018:

Detached Home: $637,600 in 2019 vs $668,300 in 2018, decrease of 4.6%

Townhouse: $429,700 in 2019 vs $444,100 in 2018, decrease of 2.5%

Apartment: $395,00 in 2019 vs $373,300 in 2018, decrease of 6.4%

Although there is an obvious decrease in home prices in Mission, BC – “Financing is still a large challenge for clients, but with that being said with a balanced market like this, REALTORS® have the time to work with clients, whether they are buying or selling.” Says Manny Deol.
