While the Fraser Valley real estate market continues to successfully adapt to doing business during a pandemic, we saw an increase of 113.4 per cent compared to May sales.

In Mission, MLS® HPI Benchmark Prices have begun to slowly increase compared to last month. With minimal increases; Detached Homes are up 1.7%, Townhouses are up 0.3% and Apartments are up 0.9%.

Detached Home Sales for June 2020 compared to May 2020 – Increase of 95.5%
Townhome Sales for June 2020 compared to May 2020 – Increase of 150%
Apartment Sales for June 2020 compared to May 2020 – Increase of 66.7%

With conditions beginning to become favourable, along with a balanced market, growing inventory and stable prices, the recovery of the market is improving day by day. While we are still unsure of the duration of the pandemic, there continues to be a strong demand in the housing market. Buyers are still able to access a mortgage rate below 3 per cent, which is very attractive to homebuyers.
